Yesterday I got the chance to go out and actually see the sites in Vienna! I went with some other girls to the most tourist parts of older Vienna to walk around. It was sunny and warm ( compared to minnesota) so we took advantage of the weather. Below are some of the pictures and we didn’t really have a guide book so I don’t know what all the building are of other than that they are really pretty haha! We are going back of most of these building through the cultural and orientation program over the next 3 weeks so I figure I will actually understand what the building are more later! After walking around for a little bit we got hungry and stopped at a classic vienna cafe! This is exactly what I pictured when I decided to study abroad in vienna and it was amazing! I sadly didn’t take any pictures, but will be going back to many more cafes and can take pictures then! One thing I found funny is that you had to pay for butter if you wanted it to go with you roll! The roll was only 80£ but butter cost 1,20£!! I didn’t order the butter so I have no idea how much you got but it was still weird and makes me wonder if this was just that one restaurant or a vienna thing! Today, I am going to the belvedere palace to see an monet exhibit because today is the last day that it is up! I am going back to the palace a different day with the orientation program as well!
