Just a short post on what I have been up to! Yesterday we went back to the belvedere for our tour with the orientation program. I decided that I enjoyed the monet exhibit much than the regular exhibits. I prefer landscape art instead of the abstract variety. I did enjoy taking a few pictures outside of the belvedere because it is such a beautiful palace. Last night I went to a heuriger (traditional wine tavern) and it was really fun! About 45 minutes from where I am staying but worth the trek even though I had to be up at 6 am this morning. It was organized by the ebn network and a great way to meet more Exchange students! I got classic schnitzel and potatoes! Starting to see that Austrian food is quite heavy!
Today I went on a day trip to Linz, Austria. We went on a walking tour of the city, had lunch, went to an electronic museum, had a pastry at a cafe and are now headed home. The pastry restaurant had the letter kkc on it, which means it was the bakery of the emperor. These are the same letters in from of the cafe Demel in Austria that I have already had twice has so good. It is a 2 hour bus ride home but at least there is wifi😊
