Phenominal, epic, amazing, words honestly can’t describe my time spent in Cinque Terre! I have seen Cinque Terre on Pinterest for quite some time and ever since I have dreamed going. The last few days have been spent hiking through the cliffs of some of the most beautiful small towns in Italy! I got the opportunity to take tons of pictures so check them out. I only have my phone pictures up and will put my camera ones up later. I did edit them since it isn’t quite as bright in person but still beautiful.
I also must say the food here is amazing. I took pictures of it all and in cinque terre I have had the best pizza, gelato, and pasta of my life! At the hostel you can have dinner and breakfast for a total of 10€. At first glance you are thinking hmm probably cafeteria food, but you couldn’t be more wrong. Apparently the chief worked at a restaurant in Florence and he makes the most amazing food! I got homemade lasagna, chocolate muffin, pastry, vegetables, pork and more while here. They really should call it eataly since I have eaten so much! Shoutout to Nico for even putting little flowers in our bread!🌷🌸
I have really enjoyed the hostel and being able to meet people to go hiking with. It is such a different atmosphere than the last place I stayed! It is quite small so I know most people staying here and the owners and so nice helping to tell us the best things to do! The hostel is about 15 minutes from the first town riomaggoreie, but their is a hostel shuttle to take you there and pick you up! Thankfully I survived all of the trips because is it quite twisty through the cliffs! I even meet people from another suburb at my hostel 15 minutes from my house-small world!
I mostly spent my time here hiking, laying around, eating, and just staring at the views so I never forget them haha! I am leaving for milan tomorrow and taking a day trip to lake como with a girl I met at the hostel here! I am excited that I will have hit most all of italy by the time I leave Europe! If any of you have the chance cinque terre is the best! I also enjoy being here in the off season to avoid the masses of tourists that flock here in the summer. Miss you all and thanks for reading!
