Bratislava

After being in Vienna for over a month, I am official and got my Visa in Bratislava, Slovakia today ✅ It went pretty smooth even though the consulate wasn’t very friendly. The day was spent exploring the small town!

After turning in papers me and another student went off to explore the city. Unfortunately, it was quite cold and even raining a little. I am glad I stuck around well into the afternoon though because it turned sunny later ☀️ The weather makes such a big difference in traveling and your impression of the town.

I went up to the castle in the morning, but didn’t go in because it was rainy and cold. There was also construction going on all around the castle. My favorite thing to see was the blue church. It is just as blue in real life as in the pictures and seemed like it was made out of frosting or something! Then, I went by a cupcake store and just had to go back because it was too cute🍰! Walking back to the train station I stopped and saw the cutest pink house and balcony. I don’t have any pictures from my phone( just camera) but I remember seeing it on Pinterest before. Just casually walking down the street in Bratislava and I see something that I found months ago and thought was beautiful! Living the dream right now with 3 countries in the last 3 days! Next week should quiet down a little with classes beginning. (I mean I guess the study thing had to come eventually) Enjoy the pictures!
