A dam(n) good time in Amsterdam

Original Amaterdam wasn’t on my places to visit list but I am so glad I made my way here! The canals, small streets, and bicycles make everything seem so homie. Today I started off the day taking pictures at the I Amsterdam sign before all of the other tourists got there and Beth had to leave. I ended up going back later today and wow it was packed so I am glad we went early. Then, I wanted to go on a free walking tour but must have missed it and rented a bike for 4 hours instead. Probably good because my feet hurt from all of the walking and I have a week Kraft without my tennis shoes. I consider it a massive accomplishment that I didn’t die biking around Amstertdam! The had tons of bicyclicist going every which way, cars, trucks, and pedestrians on these narrow on me stone streets. Would probably do a canal tour next time but it was still fun! I also went to th library to see the view from the city( suppose to be the best), the fault in our stars bench ( yeah I fangirled), and generally walked around the canals. Starting to realize I am halfway through my time here and that I need to make the most of every day! Tomorrow I am headed to the Anne frank house ( typically a 2 hour line to get in) and the rest is tbd on the weather and such then off to London! Thanks for reading! I also must add that the pictures don’t do the city justice!
