I must say London is one of favorite cities if not my favorite. It has been sunny and 75 so far and it is so clean and safe compared to other European cities! The last few days have been some of my favorite my from exchange. Yesterday started by going on the London eye with a friend from Minnesota! It was a beautiful day out and something that I really wanted to do while I was here. Next, we went to have traditional fish and chips. It was quite tasty but also pricy! I don’t understand how Londoners can drop $18 on a basic lunch! Oh well you have to have fish & chips in London.
Then I went to Canary Wharf which is a business district of London! I defenitky stuck out in my jeans but cool to see business in the uk. They also had free wifi and a view of London so that was an added bonus😊 on my way back to my hostel I went and go free Ben & Jerry’s since it was free cone day.
I quick went back to my hostel got changed to have dinner with another friend from Minnesota and then off to see Wicked. wicked was amazing and I highly reccomend seeing a show on West End in London!! It was a phenomenal day full of adventures!
Today has been more relaxing since it is again so nice out and my feet are super sore from walking so much. It was to the point that I took advil to see if my feet wouldnt hurt as much since for the last few days I wake up in the morning with sore feet from the day before😭 anyways, went to Hyde park, the Kensington palace, harrods, and then walking around central London again! I met up with another friend from MN for dinner and then went and saw Matilda. Not exactly me first choice of a show but it was cheaper and within walking distance of my hostel. Apparently it is best to get up and get in line at 8 in the morning to get the best tickets and not 30 minutes before😜 leaving for Berlin tomorrow to meet up with two friends from Carlson which should be fun to see!
