So I am a little behind on my blogging mostly because I have started having classes *gasp I do sometimes have to go* and it isn’t quite as exciting! Don’t get me wrong I dont just sleep, eat, and go to class but not quite the same as being in a new city every few days! I also haven’t been as good about taking pictures.
Some highlights:
International dinner- hosted by the Ebn where everyone brought a dish from their home country to share! I ended up bring Mac and cheese because it is quite american and doesn’t require an oven 😊 My favorite part was how my roommate made lasagna and we were planning on going to another dorm to cook it but the kitchen was closed. We didn’t know what to do with uncooked lasagna and were thinking of other options. By some miracle a after speaking to a local Italian restaurant in Italian they let us use their restaurant pizza oven! that would never happen in the US!!
Kahlenberg- also known as the vienna woods we went there and had a nice picnic since it was beautiful weather in vienna last weekend😊 they also have a view of vienna and lots of vineyards.

Vienna parks- with such nice weather last weekend I ended up touring quite a few parks and simply walking around. I even walked about 45 minutes home from campus through the parks on Friday afternoon. All of the tulips were blooming so I thought I would take advantage of that!

Danube island- I went with a friend from class to explore this man made island in vienna. We were planning on doing the rent a bike program but it didn’t quite work out so we just walking around and had a nice lunch. I heard there are some places to rent paddle boats so I will have to go back for that another time😊
Architecture tour- I went and saw the famous two buildings by some architect that I can’t remember his name. Anyways, kind of a fun evening spent after class.
Yes, this telephone booth is in Vienna 😊
Schonbrunn- although I toured schonbrunn with the buddy program I never went to the gardens since it was cold out. I went back after class one afternoon to walk around more and see how massive the gardens and grounds really are.

Mentor meeting- I finally got the chance to meet up with my carlson mentor that works in marketing in Vienna. We went to this super hip coffee restaurant called supersense. I didn’t get pictures since it might have been a little tacky but am definetly going back and will get pictures then 😊

Cute tram I took around vienna
Prayer park and 5 minutes away is where I met my mentor!
Summary of my last week in Vienna! I am hoping to hop around to the museums in Vienna this weekend. I am starting to feel the countdown clock as I am headed home in a little over a month! Make every minute count!
