I have again been bad about posting about my adventures! Staying in Vienna for the last little while and getting to know the ins and outs of the city even more. I always have the goal of doing something fun after classes everyday to maximize my time in Europe. Here is the last week!
- Picnic at schonbrunn with friends!
- Beach studying. Aka a beach bar with some sand on a beautiful afternoon. Ice cream always makes studying better!
- Free museums day at museums quarter. Quite interesting art museums we went to musek and the Leopold I am just glad I didn’t have to pay because then it wouldn’t really be worth it haha here was my favorite
- The weekend was spent relaxing, trip planning and more! I explored the city going back to the belvedere, took a nap in the park, ate some great gelato, and checked out a food festival with food from all over austria.
- Also went to a traditional wine festival on the outskirts of vienna. Quite the haul to get out there taking the bus to the end of the tracks and then the tram to the end of the tracks. Fun to have a local experience since we were the only non natives. Here is a picture of the sunset and the vineyards my friend took. - Dinner at pho with friends sadly no pictures!
- Seeing pitch perfect 2 at an American cinema! It was even released in austria before the U.S.! It was funny though because the rival singing group was german. Also, we got specific seats instead of just going in and sitting down.
I am excited to have my friend visitng me this week, family arriving, trip to Italy and my final trip of the semester is a weeklong adventure through croatia! So many things to look forward to and classes finish on Saturday! Thanks for reading❤️Melanie
