The last few days have been busy with final projects and having company! As I write this I am heading to my last class for the semester! I also got to show my friend Taylor and one of her friends around the last couple of days. It was fun to play tour guide and show them around my city. Some of the highlights:
- Schoenbrunn philharmonic concert- Us and the entire city of Wien went to an outdoor concert. We made the mistake and didn’t leave early enough because it was packed. The subways were unlike I have ever seen them and makes me nervous for how it will be with the life ball and Eurovision. They had the most people attend the schonbrunn concert since 1968!

- Walked around the ring showing them Stephansplatz, museumquartier, the parliament, and opera house among others
- Went to the belvedere and walked around the gardens
- Attended a ballet at the opera house. I attended an opera at the beginning of the semester and since Taylor is into dance we went there! Only 3€ for standing room tickets but it was kind of weird. The second act involved modern art and had spoken word in English that was quite scarcastic and I enjoyed it. Otherwise the first act was quite form based and the last was just strange.
- We got gelato from my favorite gelato place🍦
- They went and walked around schonbrunn while I got to do homework for the 2 papers, presentation, and poster I have due today!
It was fun playing tourguide around Vienna and seem to be turning into a local by bragging about all of the highlights. What can I say Vienna is a beautiful city! My family is coming today and I am quite excited to see them! Thanks for reading
