Today we went to Kornati Islands. They are about two hours by boat from Zadar and a national park! We booked a tour and it was well worth it. It started out by seeing Dolphins in the distance and as we got closer they swam right under our boat.

It was quite relaxing sitting and looking out the boat at the islands along the coast. They did play quite strange music in Croatian though which just added to the experience haha. We arrived at one island and were let loose for a few hours to explore.
A brief background on the islands is that they are mostly untouched and the terrain reminded me quite a bit of North Dakota only with Ocean!! Strange to have the most Aqua colored water next to rocky land. We climbed to the top of one of the cliffs and had fun taking pictures with these rock formations.

Next we took a leap (literally) and went cliff jumping! We heard there we a few good spots and went for it. We also felt quite accomplished because other we’re doing it but not on as high of cliffs. We took some cool pictures each jumping a few times. After the first jump I think I was more nervous since I saw jelly fish below than the highs! Cliff jumping on my bucket list✅

We took the boat to eat lunch at the captains house and I took a nap for a while in the sun! Also, in case you were wondering about the nice toilets to expect in Europe I hope you have your squat perfected.

We finished the day listening to the sea organs and watching the sunset on the steps. A well spent day cruising through croatia! Thanks for reading! ❤️Melanie
