Ios is an island only an hour ferry ride away from Santorini and one of my favorite places I have visited! It is significantly smaller with less selfie stick tourists compared to Santorini. I loved Santorini, but After visiting Ios I really fell in love with the vibes of the smaller islands.
We spent our two days laying at the beach, getting lost in the small alleyways, petting the cats, and enjoying the nightlife. A quick shoutout to our hostel, Franseco’s, they picked us up at the port, welcomed us with cold glasses of water when we arrived, and upgraded us to a private room!
