Our next trip is a family trip to Norway! His family is Norweign and they went about 5 years ago and now it is time for a reunion. I am excited to tag along with his grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and parents. We have a tour guide the entire time that will be easy to get around and drive all the way up the coast of Norway with one of the highlights being the Lofoten Islands.
In the beginning, it was a lot of travel with flights from ORD-> Frankfurt-> Oslo-> Alesund all in a single go! We got to ride on a double decker plane for the first leg of the trip which Ryan was pumped about.

By the time we landed down in Alesund the sun was just setting around 11pm and we were quite tired. It was the 4th of July and it was fun that Erling picked us up with some festive American pride.
The rest of the family spent time in Alesund the last trip so we only spent an overnight there before getting up early to start the trip. Below are a couple of photos we took in Alesund before heading out for the day.
