From Trondheim, we headed all the way north to the Lofoton Islands. It was a lot of driving with Google maps saying a straight shot between the two is 15 hours! We broke it up some with stops along the way though.
One stop is the Arctic Circle Center when we officially crossed the line. This photo is me jumping in and out of the Arctic Circle.
We stopped over for the night in Mo i Rana and I found a friend!! We had a simple dinner at the hotel and went out for a drink at a local winery/brewery pub. It was basically the only one in town!
The next day was more driving at a nice ferry ride across the way to the lofoten islands! Here are some fam photos from the ferry.
We are excited to see our traditional fishing village accommodations when we touch down in Henningsvar. Since we are north of the Arctic circle, the sun won’t set anymore!
