One of the main reasons to visit Chaing Mai when we did was to see the flower festival! It is one of the largest festivals in Chaing Mai and the city spends over a month preparing for it.
First up, we watched the flower parade. It goes on and off all morning so if it looks like it is over, it probably isn’t.
Next, we walked down to the park where the parade is and walked around the grounds. They also leave all of the floats out front so you can get a close look.
It was absolutely stunning and the pictures don’t do it full justice!
They even lit up the park at night- although I preferred the day time views.
