After heading out from the islands we had a quick stopover in Bangkok! We got massages, cocktails, and finally got around to seeing the must-see Grand Palace.
Of course had to get some 30 cent mangos on the street- SO GOOD! 
A series of rooftop sunset photos to celebrate my promotion to associate manager! I actually found out in krabi on the way to the airport that as soon as I am back in chicago I will start my new role!
The next morning, before our 4 pm flight to Seoul we went to the grand palace and saw the decking budda.
The grand palace was fine, but we actually preferred the reclining budda! Significantly cheaper, cane with a bottle of water and less people. 
Our last meal at our favorite Thai place! 
So weird, but these shrines of the royalty were all over thailand. I had to get a picture as it really weirded me out. Felt like I was in North Korea or something.
After visiting the last temples, we crammed everything back into our bags and headed to the airport to visit my friend connie in Korea!
