Ryan and I enjoyed another beautiful day in Holland visiting the flower fields 2 weekends ago! The tulips were in full peak and absolutely beautiful. We rented e-bikes from rentabikeharlem and were off! In addition to sharing pictures I wanted to share tips, maps, and experiences for how to visit the flower fields.
Our Experience
We ended up doing about 34 miles on our e-bikes and saw tons of fields! We just winged it and went south from Harlem. In my opinion, we saw the best tulips close to the tourist attraction called the tulip barn, but of course different times you go different fields will be blooming. Again, I don’t suggest renting a car as it was pretty backed up with traffic. Bikes are for sure the way to go!
In addition to the tulips, we stopped by the keukenhof castle, had coffee outside at a cafe in sassenheim, and stopped by a windmill along the way!
I compiled our clips into a little video💁🏽♀️I am still learning how to put these together so I welcome any video editing suggestions! I have learned that we need to be consistent on portrait vs landscape filming 😂

Tulip Tourist Attractions
In reality, you really aren’t suppose to walk in the tulip fields as you can spread pesticides and also break the tulips if you were to bike through them for example. We did walk through some, although we tried our best to stay on the ends of the fields and only went in a few feet for photos. I found a lot of advertisements for tourist attraction tulip experiences if you want something other than biking. Also, I have gotten a lot of questions and the farmers are harvesting the tulips mostly for the bulbs! That is why we are still able to involve the flowers 💐
