Ryan had more trips to London so we decided to tag on extra time and do a Scotland trip! Ryan had been to Scotland before (both times with other girls!😅). He was in charge of planning everything since he was the expert.
We flew into Edinburgh and unknowingly were there during the queens jubilee so it was a bit extra busy. We got in at 1am on a Thursday and crashed in order to make the most of Friday!
We got up and wondered around the Dean’s village area and then went on a free walking tour in the afternoon. It really felt like a trip during my college days staying at a hostel and going on a free tour. For the queen’s jubilee hotels were outrageous.

In the evening it seems we did a little brewery tour of Scotland! We tried Innis &Gunn, Salt horse, and the Keller. So fun!

We started the day off with the castle tour Saturday morning which is of course the most popular thing to do in Edinburgh and then walked up to a nice viewpoint before heading out of town to get our rental car!

Edinburgh was quite nice, although small. A day and a half was just enough time to see the highlights so we could spend more time in nature outside of the city.
