We picked up the car in Edinburgh and headed to the Scottish highlands!
Day 1:
Our road trip was filled with tons of stops including a castle, loch, and many gorgeous view points on the first day!
We stayed at a B&B and it was so cute! We were by far the youngest people there and one of the employees was from the Minneapolis suburbs- small world. It was called Achray House and I highly recommend if you ever are in the highlands. Look how beautiful the area was and the dinner and dessert were awesome. We also tried some local Scotch at the bar since we are in Scotland. I should have just gotten wine through- I am not a Scotch kind of gal haha
Day 2:
For our 2nd day it was a little more action packed! We started by headed to seven sisters and doing a short hike there!
For our next stop, we wanted to see the viaduct that is famous from Harry Potter. The train goes by a few times a day and you can check out the schedule online in advanced. Honestly, it was pretty cool!
We kept driving to get closer to the isle of skye which is our plan for our next day in Scotland.
