Hello from the first country in the world to legalize gay marriage. This last weekend was Pride and it was so fun to celebrate!
In the days leading up to celebrate the city has slowly turned into a big rainbow of decorations. Enjoy some pictures from around town.
The weather was looking a bit unfortunate this year so we decided to get up early and try to catch some celebrations before the rain. We started the day with rainbow bagels before heading to the start of the parade. Some photos of the “before” rain.
It started to rain, but we didn’t let that fully stop us! We saw about 50/ 80 boats from the parade before heading back for a little break in the day before it really poured!
After a tea break at home and drying or clothes in the dryer we met up with sone more friends out on the town. Definitely one of the advantages of living in the city center is everything is so close.
