The final stop of our Portugal road trip we drove down to the Algarve coast. This had been on my list since the first time I visited Portugal in 2017 so it was much anticipated!
I went back and forth so many times where to stay along the coast and even had multiple properties booked at one point (thanks Booking.com free cancellation). In the end, I love where we stayed (Vila Luz) and the town of Luz was really quaint and very close to busier Lagos.
For our first day, we decided to take an adventure boat ride to see the famous bengeil cave. I made Ryan get up nice and early so it would be less crowded and it was so fun! I also loved the tour we took as it was almost like getting on a theme park ride we went so fast through the water.

Next up, was a lot of pool time at our hotel. As mentioned in the post title, there were a lot of pina coladas this stop of the trip! They also had the sweetest kitty at the hotel that hung out with us most of the trip.

Other activities of the trip was some hiking along the cliffs. We checked out the beaches around Praia Dona Ana, Marinha beach, and then did the famous Seven Hanging Valley hiking trail starting from Marinha beach. It was stunning and I highly recommend.

Cheers to a great holiday and thanks for following along
