Seeing Segovia

After our day in Toledo, Becky and I took another day trip, but this time to Segovia! I think we both fell in love with the magical city! It was quite the trek with us taking a 30 minute metro ride, 30 minute train ride, and finally a 20 minute bus ride to get there, but well worth it for the Cathedral, Castle, and aqueducts. I loved that there were significantly less tourists than in Toledo and with all of the main attractions on one road it was easy not to get too lost.

Here are the gorgeous aqueducts you see as soon as you step off the bus in Segovia

The Cathedral in the city center

When you first arrived they had a nice little market set up here where I tried out some pastries!

Our attempted selfie from the entrance to the castle lol we are still figuring out this selfie stick thing!

From there, we toured through the castle and I honestly loved this shot because it sums up how beautiful and peaceful the scenery is.

We also hiked to the top of the tower part of the castle to get these beautiful views of the city!

Next, we decided to off-road it and try our luck at a hike to see the front of the castle since that is what is in all of the postcards and we entered through the back of the castle.

We toured the cathedral some and it was gorgeous, but at this point it is like if you have seen one you have seen them all.

Thanks for reading!!
