Smiles from Miles Away

I didn’t have too many things on my must see list for Portugal other than surfing! It was a blast and so easy to check off with my hostel coordinating everything, even getting picked up and dropped off at the hostel.

We got a quick lesson on the shore and then were thrown right in with so many things to remember along the way. I got up a couple of times and it is much harder than it looked. In the end, I think I swallow half of the Atlantic Ocean. More than anything else I loved the sunshine and just relaxing in the water. We were in wet suits which made a large difference on the water temperature.

I didn’t get any pictures of surfing since my phone was in the surf school, but we took a few pictures afterwards🏄🏽‍♀️🤙🏻☀️🌊
